FRIED BATTERED MUSHROOMS
(Het Nang Fa Thot)
10 oyster mushrooms
1c. whole wheat pastry flour
1c. water
2c. safflower oil
chili sauce (available in Oriental markets) |

Rinse mushrooms and drain well. Mix the
flour and water. Heat the oil in a wok. Dip the mushrooms in the batter
and fry until golden brown. Remove from the oil and drain on absorbent
paper. Serve with chili sauce.
